Try:

Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author C. C. (year). Title of work: Subtitle words (# edition). Publisher. DOI (if available)

The book title should be italics. Only capitalize the first word of the book title and the subtitle (if there is one).

There are several resources that have a feature that show the reference in different citation styles.

  • Our Library Catalog has a 'Cite This Item' feature on right side of the record. Once you find the book in the catalog, click on the title in the result list to open up the record. Look for the 'Citation' icon and click on it. Select MLA, APA, Chicago/Turabian, or Havard from the menu on the left.
  • If the book is not in the Library Catalog, the Cite feature is also in WorldCat, the library catalog of libraries throughout North America and a few European libraries. Once you find the book in the catalog, click on the title in the result list to open up the record. Look for the Cite/Export option at the top above the title.

Finally, we have a guide that points to help with the APA format.
