You can find articles via the DOI at this site: https://www.doi.org/​. However, links to the full-text may not work from off-campus because there is no way to authenticate that you belong to UTMB. Also, if we get the full article via a database subscription rather than directly through the publisher, then the link on the publisher's site will not work.

You can try pasting the DOI at the end of this base URL to add the UTMB authentication step:
http://libux.utmb.edu/login?url=https://doi.org/

If you do not have a DOI, or if the DOI does not work, you can use the PubMed Single Citation Matcher to try to connect to the full article (or gain access to the Request It form for articles we do not have).

  1. Connect to PubMed.
  2. Click on Single Citation Matcher under the Find column.
  3. Fill in a few of the fields (Journal, Volume, 1st page number work great if you have those pieces of the reference).
  4. Click Search.
  5. Use the Find It @UTMB button to access the full article.
