You can find UpToDate on a couple of different Library web pages:
Library Research Tools - in the Clinical and Evidence Based box - http://guides.utmb.edu/resources
Clinical Portal - in the Core Clinical Resources box - http://guides.utmb.edu/clinical
Information Services manages this subscription for the campus. They allow the Library to have a link on our home page as a convenience.
The Library also provides excellent evidence-based point-of-care information resources. Both are available from off-campus and have apps for use on mobile devices. You can find them listed under the search box on the Library's home page, as well as on the pages mentioned above.
ACP Smart Medicine - from the American College of Physicians and available through the STAT!-Ref platform - it grades each recommendation based on the level of evidence available.

We also have several online textbook collections which provides nice discussion and background information. They are listed in the Ebooks column on the Library Research Tools page or on the Ebooks page. Look especially for:
Access Medicine
Books at Ovid
Lange Education Library
Clinical Key
