I'm trying to log into UTMB library to access my saved books, but I keep getting the error message, '431 - header too big'. Also, for ClinicalKey books, I am not able to access the book chapters even when I have established a VPN to the UTMB intranet. I cannot log in because I get the 431 error message.

Usually this error happens because of a "stuck" login. Please clear your browser's cache and cookies. Then close all the browser tabs/windows and start a fresh session.
Using VPN to access library resources can sometimes cause glitches. If clearing the cache and cookies does not fix the error, use your regular network (not VPN) to visit https://libux.utmb.edu/login?url=https://www.clinicalkey.com/ — this will ask you to authenticate with UTMB credentials then send you to ClinicalKey.
If neither of these options fix the error, please let us know and we will continue to troubleshoot.
